Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Physically move material and packaging to appropriate approved areas.
- Picking kits for production:
- Accurately performing FIFO (First in, first out)
- Physically weighing and/or moving material and packaging
- Accurately enter and track inventory using an inventory software program.
- Load and unload material for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operation of a forklift.
- Accurately perform inventory cycle counts during scheduled internal audits.
- Prepare finished products for shipment:
- Secures pallets with strapping and stickers
- Documents shipment details in Release for Shipping
- Record and file pictures of pallets for shipment records
- Implementation of food manufacturing facility GMP’s.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Must be forklift certified (preferred) or can become certified at hire.
- Previous experience fluently working in an inventory software system.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience.
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and operations is helpful.
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
